Gay Vollyball- Friday February 17th

Paul is planning to visit the Colorado Gay Volleyball Association (CGVA) while they play at the Bladium Sports Club at the Stapleton Complex (near 23rd & Central Park Blvd) at 8 PM. Puerto Vallarta trip moved to January

Eric alerts us--
   Hi guys, I heard back that December was not a good time for P V this year but that January would be better for most of us. I heard from friend Jaap that his buddie's birthday is January 16, and if he goes to PV, he is contemplating January 9-23. Final arrangements are pending based on other plans.
   If we schedule our trip January 10-17 then we should be in PV when and if Jaap is there. This is from Tuesday to Tuesday and Frontier runs a flight those days for $407. Would these days work? Would other days be better? Please let me know ASAP.
   It will be easiest to arrange room reservations if we settle on the dates. The Mercurio quoted room rates starting at $583 if paid in cash, (an average of $83 a night, one bed). Bicycle shopping at REI- Sunday, December 11

CFR members are invited to join Rocky Mountain Bicycle Boys (RMBB) members on a visit to REI.  Some of us who used to bicycle and stopped doing so may motivate to get back into it. Others may be interested in bicycling as a New Year's resolution. Or, maybe you're thinking of gifting someone who's into the sport. This is an opportunity to get better acquainted with the Rocky Mountain Bicycle Boys club and learn more about recreational bicycling, and at this time of year, we may find some bargains!

DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS BLOSSOMS OF LIGHT- Thursday Dec 22

CFR is invited to embrace the holiday season at Blossoms of Light. Over one million colorful lights have been draped in elegant designs to highlight the garden's winter beauty. Romantic and popular kissing spots will return, as well as the always anticipated HoloSpex glasses. Warm drinks and tasty treats will also be available. Seasonal entertainment will be available on select evenings. Afterwords, let's go have dinner at Madison Street Restaurant, 1222 Madison
   We will meet at the Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York, Thursday, December 22, at 6 pm in the Group/Family Waiting Area tent. Please arrive on time so we can get the group discount!. Sorry, there are no free days during December. Blossoms of Light is a separately ticketed event and not included with daytime admission.
   Admission: $9.50 Adults, $7.50 Adult Member, Student, Senior (65+), $6.50 Child (3 to12), $4.50 Child Member Free for children 2 and under, and No pets, please.

   Paul has worked his ass off on this and made reservations to celebrate our anniversary at this popular eatery’s patio area this year! Come rain or shine because if there is bad weather, we’ll use the indoor party room.
